What is it for?

Decline curve analysis (DCA) is the most widely used tool in reservoir engineering to estimate future production and remaining reserves for a well or field. DCA Pro implements the most commonly used industry models:

Arps Exponencial

Constant decline rate. The simplest and most conservative model — useful when decline is stable.

Arps Hiperbólica

Tasa de declinación variable con exponente b (0<b<1). El modelo más usado en campos convencionales.

Duong

Designed for unconventional resource wells (shale). Captures hydraulic fracture behavior.

Ilk & Valko-McNeil

Power-law and Stretched Exponential models — robust alternatives when Arps does not fit well.

How to use the tool

01

Prepare your CSV

Two columns: tiempo (months or years) and produccion (MBD, bpd or any unit). No special headers needed.

02

Load the data

Drag the file or use the upload button. The tool automatically detects the columns.

03

Select the model

Choose one or more models. The tool fits parameters automatically using least squares.

04

Analyze and export

Compare the fit, review parameters (qi, Di, b) and export the forecast as CSV.
